weight: 185 pounds (mid day, so it might be a couple of pounds high)
biceps (measure at peak of bicep): 12.5 inches
chest (plus sports bra - measure across nips): 41 inches
waist (measure across belly button, including love handles): 42 inches (35 inches if you measure at the actual waist, like a sane person)(which is still not ideal, but it's better than 42)
hips (measure at peak of butt): 44 inches
thighs (measure halfway between inseam and knee): 22 inches
calves (meaure at peak of calf): 15.25 inches
I am not planning on changing my diet yet - one step at a time! Breastfeeding makes me beast hungry, and comfort food is the best part about the weather getting colder. Maybe we'll talk in the spring.
Oh, and I will consider this a success even if I stay on Level 1 the whole month, and if I skip 3 days or less. Just trying to be realistic.
Shred Day 1 Thoughts:
Not as bad as I expected, actually. There was a time right at the end of Circuit 1 where I wanted to stop and breathe, but it passed and I was able to keep moving the whole time. I have no upper body strength whatsoever (as evidenced by my inability to do even the modified version of the pushups), my flexibility is gone, my knees are creaky, and the butt kicks were annoying thanks to my new boob and butt jiggle, but I actually kind of want to do it again. This all might change tomorrow.

*Does anyone remember the awesomeness that was Sundry Buzz? You wouldn't be reading this if I had never stumbled onto it after a google search for the best makeup for rosacea. I read through the archives, then Sundry's and Swistle's archives, and life will never be the same. Anyway, I've been making Sundry's Insanely Good Pumpkin Chocolate Muffins every fall since then, and I begged her to repost the recipe for them (and the squash soup) after I realized she stopped paying to host Sundry Buzz. She did. Make them, you won't regret it!

Oh yes, I remember Sundry Buzz. Loved it. Wish it hadn't gone away.
Hey! Maybe you can join my diet, which is the "only eat things that are delicious" diet. It sounds like fun but after the first few days gets kind of hard. I'm going to post about it on Bodies one day, eventually.
I totally need to get back on the exercise bandwagon. I didn't hate the Shred, but I don't know if I am a DVD exercise person. I should probably give it another shot.
Good luck to you! If you have success, it might just motivate me to try -- although I'm not sure I'm brave enough to post my stats online.....esp since I'm 6 months post baby and still 10+lbs up from prepregnancy weight. Oh, the things we do for our babies - it's a good thing they are so cute!
That was such a fun blog to do. I remember how fun it was to feel Constantly On-Alert for fun stuff to write about: I love these chips/chocolates/lipglosses! SUNDRYBUZZ THOSE SUCKERS.
Shalini - I already participate in the "only eat things that are delicious" diet. It's tough to constantly be dieting, but I'm just trying to do what is best for my body :) I wasn't a DVD workout person until I tried Turbo Jam. The chick is so peppy it's annoying, but somehow, I respond to it. Weird.
Courtney - You can do it!!! And you don't have to be a nutball like me and post your stats
Swistle - I seriously tried out something like 87% of the products in those posts. I would pretty much blindly do anything you tell me to since you have yet to steer me wrong.
I plan to do the 30 day shred as well. Cant wait to hear what you think.
